Airbus Aerospace Park, Filton

We are delighted to have provided our services as Approved Inspectors for two fascinating projects at the Airbus Aerospace Park in Filton.

Barnwell House, a new-build open plan office space designed to house Airbus’s UK engineering teams, has recently completed on site. The project included the design, build and fit-out of a new four-storey office building that included four atria to accommodate 2,350 staff, as well as a separate energy centre.

Standing immediately beside Barnwell House, iconic Aerospace Building Pegasus House has also officially opened following extensive restoration and renovation works. Originally the headquarters of the Bristol Aerospace Company, Pegasus House is a Grade II listed art-deco building built in 1936 which is now at the heart of the new Airbus Aerospace Park. Several heritage features have been retained including a historic four storey stained glass window that chronologically illustrates the evolution of the Bristol Aeroplane Company’s planes, referencing Greek mythology & folklore.
